Στις 16 Δεκεμβρίου 2013 ο Πανελλήνιος Σύνδεσμος Αθλητικών Συντακτών (ΠΣΑΤ) βράβευσε για 60η χρονιά τους κορυφαίους αθλητές, αθλήτριες και ομάδες της χρονιάς, σε μία λαμπρή τελετή που διεξήχθη στο αμφιθέατρο «Μελίνα Μερκούρη» του Σταδίου Ειρήνης και Φιλίας (ΣΕΦ), παρουσία της πολιτικής και αθλητικής ηγεσίας, προσωπικοτήτων του αθλητισμού, αλλά και πλήθος κόσμου.
Το έπαθλο Fair Play (Ευ αγωνίζεσθαι) απονεμήθηκε στον ιππέα του Ελληνικού Ιππικού Ομίλου Κωνσταντίνο Παπαθανασίου για την απόφασή του να επιστρέψει στην ομοσπονδία το μετάλλιό του, αφού διαπίστωσε ότι οι κριτές είχαν υποπέσει σε σφάλμα και η κατάταξή του οφειλόταν σε αβλεψία τους.
Ο Ελληνικός Ιππικός Όμιλος συγχαίρει για μια ακόμα φορά τον αθλητή για το ήθος του!
