Με αφορμή την παραίτηση του κ. Θρασύβουλου Δάλλα από το αξίωμα του Προέδρου και μέλους του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου, το Δ.Σ. του Ελληνικού Ιππικού Ομίλου συνήλθε στις 20 Δεκεμβρίου 2017 στο εντευκτήριο του σωματείου και συγκροτήθηκε εκ νέου σε σώμα.
Πρόεδρος του του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου του Ελληνικού Ιππικού Ομίλου εξελέγη ο πρώην Γ. Γραμματέας του ΕΙΟ και μέλος της Δικαστικής Επιτροπής της ΕΟΙ, κ. Γιώργος Σπηλιωτόπουλος. Αντιπρόεδρος παραμένει η κ. Ιωάννα Λαλαούνη. Τη θέση της Γ. Γραμματέως καταλαμβάνει η κ. Μαρία Τζάκα. Ταμίας παραμένει ο κ. Κωνσταντίνος Μαρινάκης. Τέλος τα μέλη του Δ.Σ. κ. Γιώργος Δημαράς και Νικόλαος Μουστρούφης παραμένουν στις θέσεις των Εφόρων Στάβλων και Ιππασίας που ήδη κατέχουν.
