Today, horse riding, with three of its eight disciplines —Show Jumping, Dressage, and Eventing— has been an official Olympic sport since the Stockholm Games in 1912. It is one of the few sports in which women and men compete on equal terms, and the only one that involves two athletes: the horse and the rider.
The Hellenic Riding Club develops the two most widely practiced equestrian disciplines —Show Jumping and Dressage— at a high level.
