Facilities of the Hellenic Riding Club

The privately owned facilities of the Hellenic Riding Club combine equestrian tradition with modern infrastructure and fully comply with the standards of the International Equestrian Federation (FEI). It is a place that has been designated as a protected heritage area, as has its use.

 

The sporting facilities of the Hellenic Riding Club include:

  • Outdoor arenas covering an area of 7 stremmata (approximately 7,000 square meters)
  • A perimeter walking track
  • An indoor riding arena for horse training and for ensuring athlete training under adverse weather conditions
  • Stone-built stables
  • Saddlery and farriery facilities
  • An office
  • Feed storage facilities for horses
  • A sickbay
  • A horse walker and an exercise treadmill
  • A horse washing area
  • An equine solarium system
  • Athletes’ changing rooms

The stone-built clubhouse features:

  • Reception areas with a fireplace
  • A secretariat office
  • A large terrace for watching competitions and hosting various events.

 

The lush green surroundings are framed by tall trees and rich vegetation, making it suitable and pleasant for both horses and riders.

The Club provides a parking area for approximately 120 private vehicles.

“Fredy Serpieri”
Stables

On Saturday, 15 October 2016, in a modest ceremony held on the sidelines of the Dressage Competitions, the historic and listed stable complex of the Hellenic Riding Club was named the “Fredy Serpieri Stable” in memory of the former distinguished athlete, member, and Chairman of EIO, Fredy Serpieri.

The plaque will always remind members and athletes of Fredy Serpieri’s invaluable contribution to the Club and to the sport, as well as of the continuity and tradition that have characterized the Hellenic Riding Club throughout its long history.

Visitors can enjoy moments of relaxation at Blinkers Off Cafe, a welcoming space overlooking the beautiful facilities of the Club. There, they have the opportunity to attend riding lessons or simply relax in the tranquillity offered by the unique coexistence with horses, in an environment that exudes peace and natural.

HRCE Events

The Hellenic Riding Club offers the opportunity to host premium events in a unique natural setting that combines elegance with an authentic connection to nature. The organization and execution of events are carried out in collaboration with the HRCE Events team, which specializes in creating unique experiences tailored to the needs of each occasion.
