Riding Camp

Recognizing that horse riding is not simply a sporting activity but a way of life, and believing that equestrian education is an important asset for the students of the Riding Academy, the Hellenic Riding Club holds an annual Summer Riding Camp at its facilities, using horses owned by the Club and under the supervision of its instructors.

The aim of the Riding Camp is to offer participants the opportunity for more intensive training in the sport of horse riding through daily riding sessions, while also helping them become more familiar with horses through daily interaction, practical training, and horse care activities in the riding arena and stables.

In addition, the Riding Camp includes physical exercise sessions, a presentation on therapeutic riding by Specialist Therapist Ms. Eirini Kapari, an educational lecture by a veterinarian, a horseshoeing demonstration, creative horse-themed activities, scouting games focused on team-building and exercise, and the viewing of competition videos to further familiarize participants with the competitive aspect of equestrian sport.

Participation in the Riding Camp is open to students-riders of our Academy and those who have recently obtained a Rider’s License. The Riding Camp lasts five days and is held immediately after the end of the school year for children (late June). The program concludes with a handicrafts exhibition, equestrian demonstrations, and the awarding of participation diplomas.
