To mark the 75th anniversary of its founding, the Hellenic Riding Club, in collaboration with the Hellenic Literary and Historical Archive (ELIA), issued the commemorative album:
“HELLENIC RIDING CLUB 1931 - 2006
SEVENTY-FIVE YEARS OF CONTINUOUS SPORTING PRESENCE”.
The writing and editorial supervision of the commemorative album was undertaken by philologist and editor Ms. Maria Kairi, with the support and cooperation of all members of the Club. Through its pages —featuring vivid texts and rich illustrations of unforgettable moments— we trace the history of the Hellenic Riding Club, as well as the development of the sport, which has evolved alongside social life in Greece for 75 whole years. This history is set within the evolution of equestrian art across the centuries and is infused with the relationship of mutual love and devotion between humans and horses.
